Do you have wireless access in the library?

We are happy to provide wireless access. Please see the circulation desk to receive your access pass. We are unable to provide technical support for your laptop.

What is my pin number?

The pin number is the last four digits of your phone number. You may change your pin number by contacting the circulation department.

How do I get a library card?

You may print the application from our website and fill out the form before you come into the library. (Applications are also available at the circulation desk.) You will need to bring a photo ID and proof of your current address. A parent or guardian must be present for a minor to receive a library card. Please see full borrowing policy for details.

How do I renew materials?

From our web site, you may renew materials by selecting "My Account" and signing in with your library card and PIN number. You may also call our automated system @ 614-833-1004 or call the Circulation Department at 614-837-4104, ext 232.

Is PPL affiliated with Columbus Metropolitan Library?

No, but we do belong to the Central Library Consortium, which includes the following libraries: Alexandria Public Library, Fairfield County District Library, Grandview Heights Public Library, Marysville Public Library, Pickaway County District Public Library, Plain City Public Library, and Wagnall's Memorial Library.

Does PPL have a public printer/copier/scanner/fax machine?

Print-outs from the computer lab may be picked up at the Reference desk. A copier is available next to the lab. Copies and print-outs are 10 cents each. Color copies and print-outs are 50 cents each.

No scanners are available at this time.

A fax machine is available at the Circulation desk. The cost is 50 cents per page.

What programs are available in your computer lab?

Besides the Internet, we have Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Do you have a notary public on staff?

We do not offer this service at this time
